U.S. House of Representatives Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, September 28, 1954. A graduate of Putnam City High School in 1972, Largent went on to earn a B.S. degree in biology from the University of Tulsa in 1976. Largent started a successful football career at the University of Tulsa, where he twice led the nation in touchdown catches. He is best known for his record-setting performances as a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks. His illustrious professional football career spanned 14 years. In 1988, he was elected NFL Man of the Year, and in 1995 was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame. Throughout his football career, Largent was active in the Tulsa community, and has maintained a residence there for several years. He and his wife, Terry, have four children: Casie, Kyle, Kelly, and Kramer.
