The
Oklahoma Library Technology Network (OLTN)
The Oklahoma Library Technology Network (OLTN)
project was created to facilitate information sharing among
the state's libraries. Librarians from all types of libraries
and all areas of the state serve on the OLTN Advisory Council
and its subcommittees.
The
OLTN Shared Database Committee works with ODL and the states
bidding process to select vendors to provide statewide online
information databases for all Oklahoma libraries.
Projects of OLTN include the Statewide Online Catalog,
and the online services EBSCOhost, FirstSearch, SIRS
Discoverer Deluxe and Bowker Books-In-Print.
State appropriated and federal Library Services and Technology
Act funds through the Institute of Museum and Library Services
pay for OLTN services.
The Oklahoma Department of Libraries is the coordinating
agency for the Network. For information about OLTN, contact Sadie Mattox at 405-522-3476.
