ODL's MIS Division
ODL's Management Information Services department is charged with
providing direct automation support to the Oklahoma Department of
Libraries staff as well as the staffs of public libraries and state
agencies who rely either directly or indirectly upon ODL for their
information needs.
The division also provides consultation services for library automation
projects and works with other state agencies that have responsibilities
for school, academic, and special libraries to facilitate the advancement
of technology in libraries statewide.
ODL MIS staff work closely with the Oklahoma Library Technology Advisory
Committee (OLTAC) and its subcommittees. The committees are made up of
leading Oklahoma library and information professionals representing all
geographic areas of the state and all types of libraries.
