The Oklahoma Literacy Coalition (OLC) is an organization that supports literacy efforts throughout Oklahoma. Founded in 1986, the Coalition:

Logo:  Oklahoma Literacy Coalition• Established an annual statewide conference for training and informing literacy providers in partnership with Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the State Department of Education.

• Continues to support and mentor adult learners from across the state.

• Sponsors annual awards to honor outstanding adult learners and volunteer tutors, as well as outstanding contributors to the state’s literacy effort.

The Coalition has a membership of volunteer literacy programs, state agencies, civic organizations, libraries, businesses, and interested individuals. Use the links below to find more information.
