Letters About Literature 2012–13 Winners

The Oklahoma Center for the Book has announced the statewide Letters About Literature winners for the 2012–2013 academic year. The contest is sponsored by the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress, the Friends of the Oklahoma Center for the Book, the RoadRunner Press, and private donations. This year, approximately 49,000 students participated in the national writing contest. Three competition levels are offered: Level I for students in grades 4 through 6, Level II for students in grades 7 and 8, and Level III for students in grades 9 and 10. Go see the winners.

Publications and Forms Sites for Citizens

In partnership with the Office of Management and Enterprise Services, ODL has launched two services that provide Oklahoma citizens with online access to state agency publications and forms. Visit our DOCUMENTS.OK.GOV and FORMS.OK.GOV areas today to find out more (both links open in new windows). Both services are part of ODL's growing Oklahoma Digital Prairie services.

ODL's latest Agencies, Boards and Commissions book is now available in a downloadable PDF format. Updated through September 1, 2012, this publication contains a comprehensive listing of all Oklahoma state agencies, and includes information about elected officials, cabinet, legislature, courts, and institutions.

Guide to Oklahoma's Online Native American Resources Now Available

A guide to websites and online resources offered by Oklahoma's Native American tribes is now available courtesy of ODL's U.S. Government Information Division. Interested citizens can visit ODL's Tribal Histories and Culture site for more information.
